SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Hundreds of local vendors are selling unique items, decorations, and odds and ends at The Big Heap Vintage and Handmade Festival at Salt River Fields.
The festival runs Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"It's all vintage, antique, handmade, recycled, repurposed, weird and wonderful," Mickey Meulenbeek, cofounder of The Big Heap, said.
All vendors at the festival have to first be approved.
"We have a jury of five design professionals and when they send in their photos we have the design professionals take a look," Meulenbeek said.
From wall decorations made from trash to blacksmith demonstrations, the festival has a lot of unique vendors and items.
Admissions is $7.
