PD: Man arrested for punching police horse in Tempe

TEMPE, Ariz. – A Phoenix man was arrested earlier this month after he allegedly punched a police horse in Tempe.

Bryson Albert, 20, was arrested Nov. 1 for harming a service animal, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said an officer tried to break up a fight on Mill Avenue and Albert punched the officer's horse, Blitz.

Police reportedly found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Albert's pants pocket.

He told police that the pants belonged to his brother.
