PHOENIX -- A series of storm systems will begin sweeping across Arizona beginning Wednesday. However, the storms are not going to be very strong and the chance for rain is low, even with the strongest storm due in late Friday and Saturday morning. We do expect temperatures to cool down again for the weekend.
Highs tomorrow and Thursday and Friday will be in the low 70s but by the weekend we’re back into the 60s. The chance for rain Friday night and Saturday morning is only at about 20 percent, and would be in the form of passing showers. No major rain is expected through the weekend.
A third storm will brush the state Sunday night and Monday and once again, bringing temperatures down but bringing little moisture to the state. Expect rather windy conditions by Friday night and again Sunday afternoon as these weather disturbances move in.
