Tolleson man faces manslaughter charge in pedestrian's death

PHOENIX -- A Tolleson man is facing a manslaughter charge in connection with the death of a pedestrian in Phoenix Sunday night.
According to court documents, Marco Antonio Rosales, 32, was driving a 2006 black Dodge Magnum station wagon when he failed to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk near Dunlap and 35th avenues.
Police said Rosales showed signs and symptoms of alcohol impairment, including slurred speech and difficulty spelling his last name. They said he also failed field sobriety tests.
