Boy Scouts find human remains in Mohave County

MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. – A group of Boy Scouts found human remains in Mohave County over the weekend.

The remains were located late Saturday morning approximately 17 miles south of Hurricane, Utah, on the Arizona Strip, according to Trish Carter with the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies and rangers from the Bureau of Land Management responded to the area on Temple Trail Road where the remains were found.

The medical examiner's office recovered the human remains. Identification and autopsy results are pending.

The incident is under investigation.
