3 Injured in Chandler crash

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Three people were seriously injured in a crash in Chandler early Sunday morning.

It happened just after 3 a.m. at the intersection of Ray Road and Hartford Street.

Police said a red vehicle turned left in front of a silver car.

According to Chandler police Lt. David Ramer, the silver vehicle caught on fire and the passengers in the red car were partially ejected.

Three people were transported to an area hospital. There is no word on their conditions at this time.

The intersection was closed while police investigated the wreck.
