Teen arrested for threats at Prescott High School

PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy accused of writing threatening messages at Prescott High School.

A Prescott police officer assigned to the school was notified of suspicious graffiti found on a bathroom wall Monday afternoon.

Police said the graffiti threatened harm to the students at the school and mentions a specific date and time in the future.

Police identified and interviewed the male suspect, who admitted to writing threatening messages at the school on several occasions, according to Lt. Amy Bonney.

The suspect was booked into the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Facility for two counts of hoax, four counts of aggravated criminal damage and four counts of threats.
