AVONDALE, Ariz. -- Avondale police say no charges are pending after a woman was wedged between two semi-trailers at a truck stop and killed.

Police have completed their investigation into the accident, which happened Saturday at the Pilot Travel Center near 99th Avenue and Interstate 10.

According to police, 47-year-old Mary Ann Hall, of Avondale, walked between the two trailers to check that her trailer was secured.

Just before Hall inspected her trailer, the driver of the other trailer reportedly checked the area for pedestrians before shifting the load of the trailer to park for the evening.

While the driver was shifting the load, Hall walked between the trailers and became wedged, police said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the information is consistent with an accident.
