Phoenix weather: Cooler this week; rain late next week?
By Tami Hoey
PHOENIX -- A ridge of high pressure centered west of Arizona continues to result in quiet weather for the state. Lots of sunshine, temperatures above average and no precipitation; that seems to be the rut we’re stuck in for the near term. In the Valley, highs in the low-80s will drop into the upper-70s by the end of the week.
Middle to late next week we are seeing signs of an overall weather pattern shift. And that shift could bring us the first rain to the Valley this November. There’s also a decent chance for snow in the high country. We expect to be bringing that forecast into sharp relief over the next couple of days.
In the meantime, what you see is what you get! More sun and temperatures continuing above average for this time of year.
