PHOENIX -- In this day and age when food consumers are juggling health options like GMOs, gluten-free and pesticide-free, there is a place here in the Valley serving up farm-fresh food.

On Tuesday's Good Morning Arizona, Javier Soto took us to The Farm at South Mountain, where freshness is on the menu.

"We're making all our sauces from scratch, our dressings from scratch, and then sourcing all our vegetables to our salads," says Nikki Deherrera from The Farm at South Mountain.

The Farm offers a nearby escape from the city, with canopies of pecan trees and acres of grass lawns. It also offers organic gardens, three award-winning restaurants, an art gallery, craft shop and health & wellness retreat.

"A place like The Farm here, the way they grow their stuff and tend to it, I can't say for sure but I would imagine it's better than what you get out of the big produce companies," says visitor Roland Amstutz. "I've been back probably four or five times, and they've never failed to satisfy. It's great."
