Giuliana Rancic develops her own wine brandPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- E! Entertainment host and red carpet regular Giuliana Rancic joined Kaley O'Kelley Tuesday morning to give us a look at a new product she is launching: A wine brand called Xo, G.
Rancic developed her multi-country wine brand, Xo, G to be an extension of her persona, with a stylish design that looks like a personal gift from Rancic to her fans, and imported wines from her favorite known global titles. The name derives from her signature sendoff, "Xo, G," which she regularly uses in her social media posts.
"It's very different than any wine bottle you've ever seen," she says. "It's four shatter-proof glasses that make up one bottle of wine."
Making the wine accessible to women who appreciate style, quality and convenience was always Rancic's goal. She also says the quality of the wine is excellent.
"I wanted to offer quality wines to consumers at an affordable price," explains Rancic. "Having my wines available at Walmart, and for less than $10, is the ideal opportunity to bring Xo, G to women throughout the US."
Rancic also talked about her role on "Fashion Police," and about her friend Joan Rivers. She told us how she feels after hearing the news that the clinic where Rivers had surgery failed to get the star's consent for the procedures, and failed to provide timely intervention. "Heartbreak, Anger. And outrage that this could have been prevented," Rancic says.
