Phoenix weather: Warm, dry weather

PHOENIX -- Our slow warming trend will continue into Saturday, when temperatures around metro Phoenix could sneak into the 90-degree range.

We’re forecasting 88 for Saturday, but some neighborhoods might get a bit warmer than that. For Sunday, temperatures will start to moderate as the ridge of high pressure weakens its hold on Arizona.

Next week is looking like another quiet weather week.

The longer-term forecasts, up to two weeks out, are not really giving us much optimism that we’ll see much in the way of rain or snow into Arizona. In fact, most likely, it seems we’ll stay dry and temperatures will continue to run above average for this time of year.
