GOLDEN VALLEY, Ariz. – Mohave County sheriff's deputies and detectives are searching for a suspect who held a gun to a store manager's head and tied her up during an armed robbery Sunday evening.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Trish Carter said the suspect approached the manager as she was sitting in her office at the Dollar General located at 5181 W. Highway 68 at about 5:30 p.m.

Carter said the suspect pointed a semiautomatic pistol at the side of the manager's head then used rope to tie her legs and hands together. He reportedly asked about the safe before searching the file cabinets.

The suspect eventually closed the office door and left the manager tied up on the floor. She called 911 after she was able to free herself.

The manager was not injured.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a white shirt with brown stripes, blue jeans and a camouflage hat. The suspect also had a plaid jacket in his cart covering a backpack when he entered the store.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mohave County Sheriff's Office Detective Division at 928-753-0753 or Silent Witness at 928-753-1234.
