PHOENIX -- A Phoenix woman accused of abusing a 2-year-old relative has pleaded no contest to sexual conduct with a minor and child abuse.
Rickesha Jovani Burns, 22, entered her plea Friday. She is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 3.
Phoenix police were called to a home on March 24, 2013, and found the boy crying and bleeding. He was transported to a local hospital.
Doctors said the child had injuries around his rectal area and he needed surgery to remove a foreign object.

Burns told police the child had been playing with a 12-year-old boy at a park earlier in the day and he had done something to the toddler.
Police said they found no evidence the child had been assaulted at the park.
