PHOENIX -- Some Valley kids got to trick-or-treat early ... resort style! Hilton Resorts set up their seventh annual Haunted Cabana event at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix.

Eleven-year-old Sarah Maker and her friends, Magnifique and Demitria, were among the 250 kids from five different youth groups that got to trick or treat poolside in Phoenix thanks to Hilton Resorts.

"You just have a good time and have fun with your friends and just trick-or-treat and get all the candy you want," Sarah said.

The volunteers from the valleywide Hiltons decorated the haunted cabanas, each property with a different theme. This year the themes were everything from "Frozen" to "The Boxtrolls."

Shakiera Helenic from the Embassy Suites Scottsdale Phoenix said they were proud of how many kids they were able to help.

"It warms my heart from head to toe -- an unbelievable experience," she said.

All to give the at-risk and underprivileged kids a special night.

Ten-year-old Magnifique Ishimwe came with Arizona Helping Hands and said it was the best Halloween ever.

"It means really special that I get to come out here and be with my friends and enjoy the fun," she said.
