PHOENIX -- With high clouds around the Valley tonight, we’re going to see milder overnight lows, with many locations starting Friday morning in the upper 60s to low 70s.

However, the clouds will clear and Friday will feature warm temperatures for one more day, with highs in the low 90s.

A cold front moving our way from the Pacific will be entering the state by early Saturday.

Out ahead of that front, we’ll see winds gusting up to 45 mph in Northern Arizona. In the Valley, we’ll get wind gusts into the mid-20-mph range.

The front will also usher in much cooler air, with afternoon temperatures in the Valley in the upper 70s.

We’re not expecting any rain with the front in the deserts, but there is a chance for a few showers in the mountains of the state.

Right now, it looks like Sunday and Monday will feature highs in the low 70s around metro Phoenix, some of the coolest daytime highs we’ve seen around here, without rain, since early April.
