PHOENIX -- We’ll see a cool change in the weather come this weekend around the Valley.
For Thursday and Friday, we’re still looking at highs in the low 90s. It will be plenty warm for the trick-or-treaters. However, a cold front will move through the state Saturday and drop temperatures up to 20 degrees.
The cold front, at this point, looks like it’s going to bring us rather blustery winds and clouds at times but not much in the way of rain chances. There is a slight chance for precipitation in the mountains, but it does appear the Valley will stay dry.
From highs on Friday in the low 90s, Saturday’s afternoon high will be around 80, and by Sunday, the high temp will be in the low 70s; quite a cool down.
Right now, it looks like the cooler-than-normal temperatures will last for much of next week.
As it stands, we’re going to finish October with 0.13 inch of rain, well below the average of 0.58 inch.
