FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities say a Cochise man is dead and his estranged wife and her boyfriend are accused in the killing.

Cochise County Sheriff's officials said Monday that 29-year-old Palma Tucker Bergeron and 29-year-old Robert Rubio are being held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

Officials say 26-year-old Gary Tucker was found dead about 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 15 at the Sunsites home of his estranged wife and children.

They say a man called to report someone had just broken into the house before he shot him.

Investigators were initially told that Tucker allegedly broke into the rear door of the home.

They later concluded that Tucker's estranged wife and her boyfriend allegedly conspired to kill him.

Sheriff's officials say their investigation is continuing and additional arrests are pending.
