PHOENIX -- The workweek will feature a ridge of high pressure building into Arizona. That will result in warming temperatures through Friday. Halloween looks like we’ll see lots of sunshine and highs in the low-90s with evening temperatures pretty warm, in the 80s.
For the weekend, a strong but dry weather system will impact Arizona bringing us clouds, breezes and much cooler temperatures. The transition day, Saturday, we’ll see a lot of high and mid-level clouds and desert highs will only be in the low-80s. By Sunday and Monday, look for highs around the Valley to be in the mid-70s, so we’ll see a drop of 20 degrees from Friday to Sunday.
It doesn’t look like we’ll see any rain out of that system with the possible exception of the mountains. But even there, the chance for rain is minimal.
