SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The sixth annual "Bikers for Boobies" charity ride will take place this Saturday, beginning at Harley-Davidson Scottsdale.

The goal of the event is to celebrate cancer survivors and remember those who have passed.

"We had 1,382 riders last year so we raised a lot of money and made a big difference for people with cancer," Shelley Martin, president of Bikers for Boobies, said.

Registration is 10 a.m. to noon and the event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"Part of the money that we raise goes to give women mammograms who can't afford it," Juli Salvante of Bikers for Boobies said. "A lot of our money goes to helping survivors win."

The event will conclude with a party at Dirty Dogg Saloon following the poker run.

They will also be raffling off a bike for $10 a ticket that will be given away that night.

"Our vision is to promote education and awareness to anyone seeking information for themselves, or a loved one, diagnosed with cancer," Martin said.
