TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- A federal agency spokesman says a suspect is dead in Tucson from a shooting involving at least a Border Patrol agent. Customs and Border Protection spokesman Victor Brabble confirmed that there was a shooting Friday involving an agent and he says a suspect is dead. However, Brabble declined to immediately provide specifics on the circumstances of the shooting, so it's not immediately known whether the agent shot the person who died. Also, no information is immediately available on the dead person, including gender and age. The Pima County Sheriff's Department is responding to the shooting, which occurred on the city's southwest side. A sheriff's spokesman did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
