PHOENIX -- The nonprofit organization Phoenix Library Friends is having their annual fall sale this weekend, giving book lovers a chance to pick up a book for under $2.

The warehouse has over 200,000 used books ranging from cook books to classics.

"Everything is really priced to move, so you're looking at $2 for a hardcover, $1 per paperback, and in addition to that, this particular sale we've got more discs than we know what to do with," Alexis Ronstadt, Community Programs Coordinator for Friends of the Phoenix Public Library, said.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26.

Additionally, everything on Sunday will be 50% off.

"We take the proceeds from these sales and we actually put them right back in to the library system," Ronstadt said.

Proceeds help to support programs and services at Phoenix's public libraries.
