PHOENIX -- A man believed to be connected to multiple bank robberies in the Northwest could be headed to Arizona.

FBI agents and police in Oregon and Washington are looking for Anthony James Martinis.

They think the 41-year-old is connected to six robberies in the past month.

The FBI says new information suggests he may be heading toward Arizona and may rob banks in states between Oregon and Arizona.

Martinis is a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, around 250 pounds with a medium build and blue eyes. Authorities said his short, possibly graying hair has been seen in a variety of cuts, sometimes resembling a military or slightly Mohawk style.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Martinis should contact law enforcement immediately.
