LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Two sets of human remains have been found in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

National Park Service spokeswoman Christie Vanover says kayakers found skeletal remains early Saturday afternoon at Lake Mohave.

Several hours later, she says, a boater found remains at Stewart's Point Cove at Lake Mead.

Vanover says two boaters went missing in February at Echo Bay at Lake Mead and have not been found.

In addition, a female hiker went missing near Lake Mohave in June.

Staff from the Clark County Medical Examiner's Office responded to both scenes, and park rangers were investigating.
