We start at Alhambra. The undefeated Lions hosting the undefeated Moon Valley Rockets.

Opening kickoff and Tim Adams with a big return all the way to midfield.

The very next play, the first play for the Rockets, QB Shannon Burton throws it 51 yards to Deving Knight and Moon Valley up 21-8 at the half.

But Alhambra’s defense comes through with a big sack, Ivan Flores with the hit.

Chaparral’s quarterback, Sean Paul Brophy broke his clavicle during last week’s win over Arcadia.

An unfortunate injury, not just for a quarterback who is continuing to get college offers.

But tonight, the Firebirds played Brophy high school.

That name is not just a coincidence, Sean Paul Brophy’s family, actually founded the private school in Phoenix, and the quarterback has never had the chance to play the school who bears his name.

Last year he missed the game with a back injury.

U of A head coach Rich Rodriguez on hand for this one being played at Camelback High.

Third quarter, Firebirds up 9-7 punting and the ball is touched by a Brophy player and recovered by chaparral.

Grayson Barry trying to find someone open and he is sacked on the play by Connor Murphy.

Then Barry throws one up and it is picked by Isaiah Oliver and the Broncos D goes up 14 to 7.

Chapparal unable to get anything going

Queen Creek hosting Williams Field tonight.

Both these teams with only one loss all year, and that’s to Saguaro.

Fourth quarter Williams Field’s Braden Bushman, punches it in from a yard out.

The Black Hawks jump out to a 17 to 3 lead.

Williams Field back with the ball but the pass is deflected and intercepted by queen Creek.

That sets up this play, Weston Barlow, a dynamic running back, with a 6 yard touchdown run with 3 minutes left.

But Bushman gets a huge first down run to ice the game.
