PHOENIX -- Interstate 10 eastbound has reopened at the I-17 "Stack" interchange west of downtown Phoenix following a crash that closed the highway early Friday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The lanes reopened at approximately 10:15 a.m.

All restrictions have been lifted, including the ramps to I-10 eastbound from I-17 southbound and northbound.

ADOT recommended drivers use alternate routes, including I-17 southbound to the south of downtown Phoenix.

The I-10 closure extended to Seventh Avenue, at which point drivers could enter the freeway. I-10 westbound remained open.
