TEMPE, Ariz. -- Eighties icon Billy Idol paid a visit to the Valley Monday night to promote his new book: "Dancing With Myself."
The rocker visited Changing Hands bookstore in Tempe to meet with fans and sign copies of his book.
Fans gave him an enthusiastic welcome.
"I'm just a huge fan, and even in his later years he's still hot," says one fan. "Yeah, there was one lady that got a little out of control, but I think they just pushed her to the side, so it's all good,"
Idol's book promises a revealing look at "sex, drugs, and rock and roll".
Born William Michael Albert Broad, Billy Idol is a multiplatinum recording artist and two-time Grammy nominee. Known for successfully merging punk and pop, Idol created some of rock’s best-known anthems, including “Rebel Yell,” “White Wedding,” and “Cradle of Love.”
