Scottsdale police arrest 2 on fraud charges

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Scottsdale police arrested two people on fraud charges after a traffic stop over the weekend.

Officers noticed a vehicle with a stolen plate in the area of Loop 101 and Scottsdale Road Saturday afternoon.

A traffic stop was conducted nearby. Edwin Locke, 41, and Kimberly Ruah, 24, were taken into custody without incident.

Police said they found the IDs of multiple individuals and property not belonging to the suspects inside the vehicle.

Locke and Ruah were booked on counts of fraud and related charges.
