PHOENIX -- After a warm weekend, temperatures will fall a bit for the start of the workweek.
Sunday's high temperature in the Valley was 94 degrees, but today will bring peak temperatures closer to about 90 degrees, which is exactly average for today's date. Tonight's lows are expected to drop to the mid 50s to mid 60s around the Valley tonight.
A dry cold front now moving away from us will lead to breezy conditions at times today, but lighter winds and warmer temperatures are expected tomorrow.
High pressure building over the west will lead to slightly higher temperatures through midweek. Although some high clouds are expected Wednesday, no rain is expected for the next seven days.
High temperatures are expected to drop to the upper 80s by the weekend while overnight lows remain cool in the 60s.
