Baby Orangutan

The Phoenix Zoo's newest resident, a baby boy, Bornean Orangutan will make his debut this morning at 9:30am with mom. Bess and her baby should be together in the "dayroom," this is the enclosed area of the exhibit, for the first time for our camera's and the public to see.

Virgin Jane
In The CW's new comedy series "Jane The Virgin," Gina Rodriguez stars as Jane Villanueva, whose meticulous life plans are suddenly turned upside down when she is accidentally artificially inseminated. Named the "Next Big Thing" and one of the "Top 35 Latinos Under 35" by The Hollywood Reporter, Gina Rodriguez's profile has been rising steadily... She's from Chicago, but lives in LA where she comes to us LIVE. Her show premieres today on CW.

Barrel Art
The 5th Annual Arizona Taco Festival is back at Salt River Fields, with a new addition:  Barrel Art! A variety of barrel art will be displayed Sun. Oct. 19, with an awards ceremony for best art at 5pm. It's cool and unusual art, done by local artists competing for a $1,000 prize. The event is open to the public, but is does require a $12.00 ticket, kids 12 and under are free.
 
Tickets & Parking: General admission tickets are $12; kids 12 and under FREE. General admission two-day passes are $20.  VIP tickets are $85 advance online and $100 day of and include limited drinks from the VIP bar, taco tokens, and private restroom facilities.
