Chandler police seek bank robbery suspect

CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Police are searching for a man who robbed a Chandler bank Friday afternoon.

Just after 4 p.m., a man entered the Compass Bank inside Albertsons near Ray Road and McClintock Drive and demanded money from a teller.

The suspect is described as a 25-year-old Hispanic man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a long-sleeved hoodie with a Nike swoosh logo, a knit cap and sunglasses.

He may have fled the area in a black hatchback Scion.
