PHOENIX -- The remnants of what was Tropical Storm Simon are moving into Arizona today.
Skies are mostly cloudy across the state and light rain fell across the Valley during the early morning hours. More rain is possible throughout the day, with the Valley expected to see between 0.1 and 0.5 inch of total rainfall.
Southern Arizona could see some higher rainfall totals today and tonight.
The Valley could see some locally heavy rainfall this afternoon or evening if thunderstorms develop. Look for mostly cloudy skies and a high of only about 80 degrees.
Tonight, there is a continued chance for storms and a slight chance for a shower or two tomorrow, too, before drier air moves in Thursday night.
Look for mid 80s Thursday and upper 80s Friday. Warmer temperatures in the 90s and sunshine are expected for the weekend.
