Nicole Stanton announced a partnership between her anti-bullying initiative and Arizona State University Monday.
Stanton's Stop Bullying AZ initiative is partnering with ASU to create the Dion Initiative for Child Well-Being and Bullying Prevention.
Her fully-funded anti-bullying programs for teachers at the University level will begin with ASU.
"We're not reinventing anything new here. What we're trying to do is spotlight those things that are really working, to take advantage of the resources that ASU has to offer, and really bring forward those things that are effective," Stanton said.
The program is committed to fostering children's health, mental health and academic success.
"I think it can be stopped," Stanton said. "The best way to prevent bullying is to really start early with children and to teach them how to have appropriate relationships."
