PHOENIX -- With Halloween right around the corner, it's time to start thinking about costumes -- both for the kids and for yourself.

Jocelyn Casdorph, owner of Arizona Face Painting, says face painting is all the costume you need and it does not have to take a long time or be expensive.

Having worked at Disney World Parks, Universal Studios and Sea World, Casdorph is the ultimate face painter. She has also painted celebrity faces and bodies for Playboy and the Oscars.

Arizona Face Painting takes face painting to a whole new level of vibrant, extraordinary works of art that are completed in less than five minutes and frequently customized on the spot for clients of all ages.

In addition to painting the faces of an entire family (mom and three kids), Casdorph turned one of 3TV's editors into a zombie in no time flat, and then gave Jaime Cerreta the Wonder Woman crown she deserves.

While Casdorph has been painting faces for 15 years and creates amazing looks, she says it's not all that hard. If you want to give it a go yourself, she says make sure you use water-based theatrical makeup and do your outlining last to get a clean look.

"Keep is simple," she said. "Don't try to overdo something. ... It doesn't have to be like a masterpiece."

She said the Ninja Turtle and the kitten she demonstrated are probably the easiest designs.

"Put your face on, and then you have your costume," Casdorph said. "You don't even have to get the whole outfit."

Casdorph said, she will be at the Arizona State Fair this year. The fair runs Oct. 10-Nov. 2.
