TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Tucson police have identified a driver who died after losing control of her vehicle and rear-ending another.

Police say the medical examiner found that 78-year-old Billie N. Beasley died from injuries she suffered in a collision on Tuesday.

A passenger traveling with Beasley in her Honda van says a medical condition caused her to collide with the back of a pickup truck that was stopped at a red light.

Authorities say Beasley was initially hospitalized with what were believed to be minor injuries.

However she passed away hours after the incident.
