I remember someone asking me when I was a kid, who wins, an immovable rock or the person who can move anything.

We had a similar situation tonight at Hamilton high.

Tonight, Hamilton is looking to extend a 63 game home winning streak.

Meanwhile they are hosting Mountain Pointe, one of the top ranked teams in the country riding a 19 game winning streak.

Something’s got to give.

The Huskies would get out to an early lead and were relentless.

Here Mountain Pointe driving with under a minute to go in the half and QB Garvin Alston rolls out but the ball is picked by Tommy Robinson.

That would set up this beauty, nice ball by James Sosinski to Brandon Krcilek with 30 seconds left in the half and it is 30 to 10 Hamilton.

Midway through the third and the pride going for it all and Jaelon Parson gets the pick for Hamilton, They would hold Mountain Pointe scoreless in the 2nd half and win 30 to 10.

Chandler hosting Cesar Chavez. Bryce Perkins, the ASU commit, with a 35 yard pass down to the 5 yard line to Chris Brewington.

Micah Reed-Campos will finish off the drive with a 5 yard touchdown and it’s 7 to 0 wolves. After their 3 point loss to Mountain Pointe last week, chandler would love to get a win before facing their rival Hamilton next Friday.

On this drive its Perkins going deep again and finds N’Keal Harry with the 43 yard connection all the way down to the 4.

Perkins finds Kolby Taylor for the short touchdown pass 14 to 0 Chandler in the first.

49 to 6 Chandler gets back into the win column with authority

Desert Ridge taking on Brophy down at Phoenix College. Ignore Brophy’s record. This was a close game all night for a couple of rosters loaded with talent.

Desert Ridge’s Alex Hatchcock tough inside run for 12 yards and the Jaguars are moving the chains.

The Jags get on the boards as Tate Shumway finds Tarren Morrison in the corner of the end zone and it is 7 to 0.

Brophy looking to answer, Cade Knox goes play action has to scramble to buy time and finds Streator Bates down the sideline for a nice gain.

Brophy would settle for a field goal as Streator Bates, not only made the big catch, but also the big field goal.

Kicks it through 7 to 3.

This was a back and forth game, Desert Ridge with a chance to win it late, but the Broncos stuffed em at the 10 yard line. 40 to 35 Brophy gets the homecoming bump.
