TEMPE, Ariz. -- Bringing TVs and tents, pizzas and pillows, more than a thousand students lined up for days, just to score their student tickets to Thursday night's big football showdown between ASU and UCLA.

The Arizona State University Sun Devils will host their Pac-12 home opener on Thursday, Sept. 25 in a pivotal early season Pac-12 South duel against UCLA at Sun Devil Stadium.

Fans are so excited about the game, some of them have been standing in line since Sunday. By Thursday morning, the line to get tickets wrapped all the way around the University Activity Center.

Thursday's game is a "black-out," and it's being called the biggest game of the season so far.

With Arizona State's QB Taylor Kelly still on crutches with a right foot injury, all eyes will be on replacement Mike Bercovici.

But so far the big story has  been about the super fans who have braved the elements and the crowds just to get tickets to the big match-up.

"It's crazy," said one fan. "I thought we were the first ones here. I didn't realize the line went all the way around Wells Fargo Arena."

"Every game is big," said another fan. "Every game is big. That's why we're here. We camped out last time, too! Every single ASU game."
