FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- One suspect has been arrested and another wounded in connection with a shooting at a Flagstaff home.

Flagstaff police say 30-year-old Evan Creech is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and tampering with physical evidence.

They say Creech transported the wounded suspect to a Flagstaff hospital after the shooting and 30-year-old Joshua Palmer is listed in critical condition.

Police say one person inside the home, 32-year-old Joshua Alicea, was taken into custody on a felony warrant and being a prohibited possessor of a weapon.

Officers were called to the home around 8:30 a.m. Monday after witnesses say two armed men forced their way in through the back door.

Witnesses say the home's occupants got a handgun and fired shots at the suspects.
