PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns are holding their annual anthem auditions to find singers for the National Anthem Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

"We are looking for amazing performers to come out here today and give it their best shot to sing the anthem at a Phoenix Suns game this season," said Kip Helt of Phoenix Suns Entertainment.

There are 44 upcoming 2014-'15 home games, including the preseason, giving 44 individuals the chance to sing the National Anthem in US Airways Center.

"If they can perform it in 90 seconds or less, we like that," Helt said.

No appointment is necessary.

For those uninterested in singing, the Suns are also holding auditions this week for the Verve Sol Patrol and Solar Squad groups.

On Thursday, Sept. 25, there will be auditions for the high-energy dunk team, the Verve Sol Patrol. Auditions will take place 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and candidates must be 18 years or older.

There will also be Solar Squad hip-hop dance team auditions on Saturday, Sept. 27, from noon to 5 p.m. Performers must be 18 years or older.
