PHOENIX -- Expect a partly sunny day in the Valley with a high of 94 degrees. There is still a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today, most likely in the afternoon and evening.
The remnant moisture from Odile is working its way across Southeastern Arizona this morning. Although widespread heavy rain stayed away from Tucson and Phoenix, there is enough moisture in the air to lead to a slight chance of mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorms today through Saturday.
Drier air begins working its way into our region by the second half of the weekend and sunshine and warmer temperatures will return by then.
Another hurricane, Polo, is brewing in the Pacific, but is expected to stay well west of the paths Norbert and Odile took.
