PHOENIX -- Tropical moisture is streaming up into Arizona ahead of Tropical Storm Odile. The storm will weaken to a tropical depression by tomorrow morning, but abundant moisture will continue to push into Arizona through the end of this week.
A chance of showers begins today for the Valley and continues through the rest of the week, with the heaviest rain potential on Wednesday and Thursday. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for much of the state those days, and includes the Valley from 11am Wednesday until 6pm Thursday. Heavy rain is possible, along with thunderstorms.
Afternoon highs will stay well below average, peaking in the low 90s. Look for a high of 96 degrees today with a chance for off and on showers.
