PHOENIX -- Localwork.com is holding a job fair Monday to help local residents find jobs in their area.

Over 50 companies representing more than 1,000 full- and part-time jobs will be at the fair at Phoenix Airport Marriott, 1101 N. 44th St., Phoenix, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Opportunities include jobs in business, customer service, health care, retail and more.

Localwork.com also put on a Job Fair Boot Camp prior to the event to help the first 200 attendees with résumés, professional headshots and tips.

Ryan Naylor of Localwork.com gave 3TV viewers tips on how to make your LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media accounts more professional.

"Make sure you take the time to go through all your settings of that social media profile to get rid of public appearance of tagged images," Naylor said while talking about tagged photos on Facebook.

Over 80 percent of employers admit that they are searching future employees online to see if they are going to be a risk to their organization or not, according to Naylor.

LocalWork.com was created to help Arizonans find jobs by connecting them to hiring companies and vital organizations. For more information about the Greater Phoenix Job Fair, visit www.localwork.com/phoenix/jobfairs/.
