Child Passenger Safety
The Tempe Police Department is partnering with the Governor's Office and Highway Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) during the National Child Passenger Safety Week from September 14-20, 2014.  During the campaign Tempe Police Officers will be out in force proactively seeking out child safety seat violations.  The goal of the campaign is to protect the children of our community and educate parents on how to keep their children safe.

Chandler's latest effort to promote recycling: Mix trash with fashion to create (drum roll) the Trashion Fashion Show. Rules for the show, require each outfit to be made from at least 75 percent recyclable or reused material.
