PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- Prescott police say a child has been reunited with his mother after he was found wandering a neighborhood alone Friday evening.
According to police, a 59-year-old woman was baby-sitting the boy while his mother was at work. He reportedly pushed out a window screen and took off when she was not looking.
The Prescott Daily Courier reported that police received a call around 5:15 p.m. from a concerned resident who saw the boy wandering alone in the area of First and Vallejo streets.
The child, who appeared to be about 2 or 3 years old, was only wearing a diaper and answering to the name Spider-Man.
According to the newspaper, officers took the boy to Yavapai Regional Medical Center as a precaution and to remove some cactus needles from his body.
Police said no charges have been filed.
