WILHOIT, Ariz. – A man awaiting trial on sexual assault charges has been arrested for harassing the victim, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrested Thomas Bolton, 49, of Wilhoit, on Monday for violating court-ordered conditions while he was out on bond.

YCSO spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn said Bolton was ordered to not have contact with the victim after he was charged with sexual assault and sexual conduct with a minor in the 2013 case. He is scheduled for trial in October.

Deputies said Bolton drove into a business parking lot on Sunday and blocked the path of a vehicle containing the minor-aged victim and her friend.

Bolton allegedly began screaming at the pair and intimidating the victim. He left after they entered the business to seek help.

Deputies located Bolton at his home Monday morning and arrested him for charges including harassment, disorderly conduct, disobeying judicial order and felony aggravated harassment.

He is being held without bond.
