PHOENIX -- After a few showers in mainly the East Valley this morning, we'll see clear skies and sunshine this afternoon.
Drier air moving in from the northwest means a monsoon break for the Valley today and tomorrow. Temperatures will peak in the mid 90s today but warm back to the triple digits starting tomorrow.
There will be a return to a monsoon pattern by the weekend, with a slight chance of storms from Saturday into early next week. Tropical Storm Odile formed this morning and is forecast to move toward the Baja Peninsula over the next few days.
By early next week, some of that moisture could move toward Arizona.
The 3TV forecasters will continue to monitor the storm and keep you updated.
