Jobs: SkyMall hiring for holiday seasonPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- SkyMall, the catalog full of awesome things you never knew you needed, is typically found in the backs of chairs on most airplanes. What you might not know is that the company is based in Phoenix and is looking to hire dozens of people. The SkyMall team is getting ready for the holidays, which means there are 50 to 60 seasonal positions to fill.
"We're looking for our inbound sales and customer service representatives who will be on the phone here at SkyMall," spokeswoman Jinine Martin said.
You don't have to be too computer savvy, Martin explained. You just have to have a good attitude and be good with people.
"We'll have paid training. It's a full time schedule from four to six weeks, depending on the position the agent would get," she said.
Even though these are full-time or part-time seasonal jobs, Martin said there's a chance they could turn into permanent jobs.
"Based on performance and the needs of the business, a person who comes on right now could end up getting a full time position after the holidays," she said/
