Suspects sought after thousands charged to stolen credit card

PEORIA, Ariz. -- Peoria police are searching for a man and woman who used a stolen credit card to purchase thousands of dollars in merchandise from a retail store.

Police said a man stole a wallet from a woman's purse at a restaurant near 83rd Avenue and Bell Road on Friday, Aug. 8.

About one hour later, the man and his female accomplice reportedly used the card at a store near 79th Avenue and Bell Road.

The man is believed to be white and in his mid-20s. He had dark hair and was wearing a gray zip-up jacket with a black stripe down each sleeve, a white T-shirt and dark pants.

The woman also appeared to be in her 20s and had dirty blond hair. She was wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
