PHOENIX -- Firefighters were busy with a house fire in north-central Phoenix Monday morning.

A detached guest house near Central and Glendale avenues caught fire at around 10:30 a.m.

The fire was stopped before it could spread to the main house, according to Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Mark Vanacore.

There was moderate smoke and fire damage to the guest house, but no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
