SEDONA, Ariz. – A Sedona home recently sold for a record-breaking amount.

The unidentified buyer paid $4.5 million for the 9,000-square-foot mansion with incredible views of Sedona's famous Red Rocks.

Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty closed what is reportedly the highest residential sale ever recorded in Northern Arizona.

The home sits on 8 acres and has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a private gym, pool and spa.

The home was selected by Sotheby's International Realty as one of the 12 most beautiful homes in the world and earned a spot in the SIR global calendar in 2012.
